Everything on 123Mentor is designed around one idea: mentors give first. That keeps mentoring accessible to students and makes sure anyone who eventually charges has earned the trust.
If you are a mentee
Create your profile
You must be 18 or older. Tell us your field, languages and what you want to achieve.
Get matched, or apply directly
Matched: we suggest your top 3 mentors based on field, language, time zone, availability and reviews. Requesting one is free. Apply directly: browse all mentors and write to the one you like. While we are growing, direct applications are free too.
Book your session
Once a mentor accepts, choose a 30-minute slot in your own time zone. You can hold up to 2 mentorships at a time.
Show up and rate
Open the session page a few minutes early. Afterwards, confirm it happened and leave a rating. Your honest feedback is what keeps quality high.
If you are a mentor
Your journey has three stages. All the numbers below are what the platform uses right now.
How hours are counted
- A session's hours count only when your mentee confirms it happened and both of you were on the session page for at least 10 minutes.
- If a mentee forgets to confirm, hours still count after 72 hours if both of you were present.
- Ratings only count on sessions that earned hours.
After you unlock paid mentoring
- You set your own session price (between $5 and $60).
- To keep your paid listing active, you keep giving 2h of free mentoring a month to the community. Miss a month and your paid listing pauses until you catch up. Free mentoring is never paused.
- Paid sessions open soon. You can already earn your unlock; nothing is lost while payments are being finalised.
