Safety & community guidelines

Mentoring works when everyone feels respected and safe. These are the rules we all agree to.

For everyone

• Be kind, honest and professional. No harassment, discrimination or pressure of any kind.
• Keep conversations on the platform. Emails and phone numbers are masked in chat for your protection.
• Mentors must never ask for money, gifts, personal data or favours outside the platform.
• Never share passwords, banking details or sensitive documents.

Mentors

• Give honest guidance from your real experience, and be clear about what you do not know.
• Turn up on time. Cancel early if you cannot make it.
• Respect the free-hours commitment. It is what earns the community's trust.

Mentees

• Come prepared with a goal or question. Respect your mentor's time.
• Give fair, honest ratings. They help others and reward great mentors.

If something feels wrong

Use Report or Block on any mentorship page. Reports go straight to our team, and we can suspend accounts immediately. If you are ever in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
